            Summary: ShiftGrid is built with a Local-First, Privacy-by-Design architecture. We do NOT collect, transmit, share, or monetize any of your personal data, schedule information, or shift records. Everything stays 100% on your device.
        

1. Information We Collect

None. ShiftGrid does not collect any personal identifying information (PII) such as your name, email, phone number, physical location, or contact list.

2. How Your Data is Stored

All shift configurations, work hours, overtime limits, notes, and preferences you enter are stored locally on your device using encrypted native storage (AsyncStorage and Android AppWidget storage). When you uninstall the application, this data is automatically erased by your operating system.

3. Third-Party Services and Analytics

ShiftGrid does NOT integrate third-party trackers, telemetry suites, advertising networks, or user profiling SDKs.

4. Device Permissions

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to trigger local alarm notifications for upcoming shifts and the daily evening briefing. No notification data is transmitted externally.
Vibration (VIBRATE): Used for tactile haptic feedback during calendar interactions and alarms.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
